A practical guide

Mark the copy that is still under review.

  1. Choose the PDF and enter a short status such as DRAFT.
  2. Select an available placement and opacity that keeps the page readable.
  3. Apply the text mark and inspect the opening, middle and final pages.

Try this example

Mark a six-page instruction draft with DRAFT at low opacity. Review pages 1, 3 and 6 to make sure the label is visible without covering steps.

What you get

Add a text watermark to every PDF page. Choose diagonal, center or footer placement. Use Add Logo to PDF for PNG/JPG marks. A watermark does not remove underlying content.

Limits and important details

Text is applied to every page in diagonal, center or footer position. Standard font character coverage is limited. This is a visible label, not redaction, encryption or copy protection; existing digital signatures may be invalidated. Use Add Logo to PDF for image marks or Add Letterhead to PDF for a PDF template.
