A practical guide

Fix the page that came through sideways.

  1. Choose a PDF and look for pages with the wrong orientation.
  2. Select those page positions and choose the clockwise turn that makes them upright.
  3. Rotate, preview the result and download the corrected copy.

Try this example

In a five-page scan, position 3 is sideways while the rest are upright. Turn only page 3 by 90° or 270° clockwise, checking the preview to choose the direction.

Before

  • 1 upright
  • 2 upright
  • 3 sideways
  • 4 upright
  • 5 upright

After

  • 1-5 upright
One page is turned; the page order remains unchanged. Illustrative example.

Before you start: This changes page orientation in quarter turns. It cannot straighten text photographed at a slant within the page.

What you get

Rotate all pages or selected document positions by 90, 180 or 270 degrees clockwise. Existing rotation is taken into account; page count and order do not change.

Limits and important details

This changes page orientation, not the angle of a tilted scan inside a page. It does not compress or improve image quality. Preview pages shows the source; Preview latest PDF shows the result.

Example

Leave Pages as all for the whole document, or enter 2, 4-6 and choose the angle. You can also select pages in the preview. Original files remain available.
