A practical guide

Before you start: Append keeps each selected file together. To interleave two front-and-back scan files, use Merge Odd and Even PDF Pages; to move individual pages, use Organize PDF.

Limits and important details

Alternate: exactly two PDFs, 10 MiB each, 200 pages total and 40 MiB output. No compression or guaranteed bookmark, interactive-form or digital-signature preservation. Password-protected PDFs are unsupported. Check page order before sharing.
